I've neglected my Blog SALE

Sometimes life just gets crazy and you do all you can to keep up with the stuff you have too, family, job etc. and the fun stuff gets pushed to the side.  I need to get back into blogging especially when I find really cool patterns.  I found a classic recently : McCall 3624 Designer Givenchy Dress Pattern and I placed it for sale before I went to bed and woke up to a sale.  It was bittersweet because I wanted to keep it but sometimes you have to choose to let them go to a better home. Children Fashion Designer: Helen Lee

I love the designs of the famous children's fashion designer, Helen Lee. The patterns she illustrated for were from the McCall's line and are usually cute, frilly, twirly dresses. I can always spot a Helen Lee pattern and will never leave one behind. She was the first children's designer to win the Coty American Fashion Critics Award, for her designs, in 1953. Here are a few of my photos. Four of them remain in my shop, which is surprising, they usually fly out the door, as soon as listed.

Bad Business!

I ordered a lovely necklace from a featured "power" seller off Etsy for Christmas for my sister. Imagine my horror when my sister told me it fell apart in her hands. I decided to vent my frustrations on Christmas to this seller, never expecting her to write me back on Christmas, but when I see she when was listing the two next days and still hadn't contacted me, I write her again, wondering why? She gets TOTALLY BENT out of shape with me, the CUSTOMER! Basically calls my sister a lair (like she broke it on purpose) and when I decide not to deal with her and file a complaint with Paypal, she comes back almost immediately threatening to file fraud on me. She's obviously done this before! Needless to say, my sister is trying to fix it and if she can't, I asked her to send to me and I'd try. I've heard these stories before, just never thought it would happen to me................................
