Vintage 50s Simplicity 1701 Toddlers WHIRLING FULL SKIRT PARTY Empire DRESS Sewing Pattern w/ CAPE 3

Easter is this Sunday. Gosh, is it early this year or what. My son is out for Spring Break this week and he didn't even get the full 5 days as "spring break", they counted one as a snow day. When we go to church Sunday, I wonder how many little girls will be dressed in dresses like above? or jeans as a fancy top. This are so different from when I was growing up. Church was your Sunday best, not jeans and shorts. Check out the cute pattern in my store:

Girls' Size 3; Chest 22: Waist 20.5

Dress and Cape with Detachable Collar and Cuffs.
Styled in the empire line and has a full, whirling skirt.
The short sleeves have contrasting cuffs and the high round neckline has a shaped, contrasting collar.
View 1 and 2, dress may be worn with or without the brief, matching cover-up cape which is lined with contrasting fabric.
View 1, dress fastens with tie ends in back.
