The Very Flattering TENT DRESS

The tent dress is an A-line garment with the capital letter "A" shape being the narrowest at the neckline and the widest at the hem. It is shaped like a typical A-frame tenttenttent, hence the name. The tenttenttent dressdressdress was made popular in the 1960s but I've been seeing it make a comeback. I've seen a few popular actresses wearing them as maternity dresses. Every time I get a tent dress pattern in my shop, weather it be a toddlers or a misses, it sells out FAST. Like this one in a great size: Size 18 and UNCUT http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=25948117

I remember my mom having tons of patterns like this when I was little (in the 60s); too bad she got rid of all of them by the time I was in high school (80s). I don't think she ever thought that these dresses would make a comeback! :)
