In Memory
My Beautiful Mother died today. She was 79 and has been my BEST friend for 43 years. I won't talk on the phone much anymore because she was the one I always talked to. I'm going to miss those late night calls. Rest in Peace Mom, I Love you!

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my mom almost 10 years ago and I know how hard it is...

I lost my mom when I was twenty, We had not gotten to the point where she had become my friend. She was always my mom. I am 58 now and I still miss her, crawling into bed with her in the morning when it is too cold to get up, she was always so warm. I will tell you this, alot of people told me it would get better, but I think I have just learned to live without her in this world. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about her,smell something that reminds me of her, hear a song she used to hum,taste something she used to cook,feel something soft and think of her hugs. Your mom will always be in all five of your senses. God bless you and i appreciate your blog this morning.
I'm sorry for you loss. Mothers are so special. Mine has been gone for over 17 years. We talked on the phone every single day. For a long time after she died I'd catch myself dialing her number. Big hug. :)

My heart goes out to you. But she's not really left... I call it spiritTouch. Sometimes I feel my Mom very close indeed, and I say aloud, I miss you Mom. And in my mind in hard times, I still feel her guidance. Mom passed Dec of 2004. My sister, at a young 52, passed last year on Nov 21 2007, and this recent Thanksgiving was sad. Yet, when pics come up on my Google Desktop, I find myself smiling at them and remembering fond things. Your mother is still with you. Your site and works are beautiful... keep on working what you do best. She is very proud.
